Meet The Speakers
Dr. Stephanie Stratford DMin KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Bishop Stratford is a native of Washington, D.C., and has served the Body of Christ for over forty-two years. She earned a Master of Ministry in Leadership degree from Richmond Virginia Seminary, a Doctor of Ministry degree from HBCU, Virginia University of Lynchburg, and completed the Leaders of Learning Certificate Program at Harvard University. Bishop Stratford is married to Deacon Thomas Stratford. She says her greatest treasures are her seven children, five of whom she homeschooled for seven years, which allowed her the privilege of having them with her as she traveled the country evangelizing for the Kingdom of God. Bishop Stephanie Stratford was consecrated into the Episcopacy of the Lord’s Church in April 2018. She is the Presiding Bishop and Lead Pastor of Ekklesia International, headquartered in Brentwood, MD, USA. EkklesiaInternational is a global network of churches that provides apostolic oversight, biblical leadership training, and ministry support for pastors and future Kingdom leaders in the United States, Nigeria, Liberia, South Africa, Uganda, Belize, and Kenya. Bishop Stratford is an entrepreneur and a writer. She is the author of God Speaks to Women: Lessons for the Millennial Generation, Living A Spirit-Filled Life, Rivers in the Desert:Meditations from the Book of Isaiah, and Developing Healthy Self-Love. Her book, “Moments in Church History: From the Ancient Church to the Protestant Reformation, is scheduled to be released in 2023. Yolanda Stewart, Author & Executive Pastor INSTITUTE SPEAKER: After serving twenty-nine years in the U.S. Army and retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, Yolanda G. Stewart is now executive pastor of Mosaic Church in Tennessee. Mosaic is a multi-campus, international ministry where for more than nine years Yolanda has served as a mentor to elders, pastors, and staff. In addition, she is a Bible teacher, recording artist, author, inventor, and entrepreneur. Yolanda is a graduate of Wright State University, with a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication. She is also the author of Determined to Believe Again (2009) and The Little Books That Everyone Should Read series.
Maria Mackay, Author and Blogger INSTITUTE FACILITATOR: A lover of all people was born and raised in Honduras but moved to Athens, Georgia eighteen years ago with her husband and three children. Her blog, Discovering Jesus in every Season, is filled with inspirational stories that intertwine life experiences with humor and optimism. Her children’s book, Ben and the Happy Sword, addresses faith, family, and the power of words. Currently Maria is working on a bilingual picture book series, The Adventures of Rosalita and Abuelita. Maria’s story can be anyone’s story, because regardless of where you live, what language you speak or what stage in life you’re in, you can always discover Jesus in every season.
