Reflections of Hope
Friday, September 01 2017

Recently, I found myself discouraged, troubled and in a state of nearly fainting. Yes, it can happen to the best of us on this faith walk.  In a moment of silence, I was reminded of my hope in God.  The rekindling of my strength became evident as I reflected on the faithfulness of God.  I regained my footing on the solid rock , leveling my walk-in victory.

You might be feeling incapacitated, nearly knocked out during this season of your life . . . “Don’t Quit”.  My friends take a moment and become refreshed in Galatians 6:9 to prevent being weary in well doing: for in due season you will reap a harvest, if you faint not.  blog header play to win

Whatever, your struggle might be (family matters, finances, employer issues, discouragement, or health concerns) that is weighing you down remember the adversary is not after you – but your faith.  Don’t allow your situation(s) to force you to give up.

Allow the power of the Holy Spirit to rejuvenate you to become “strong in the power of God’s might” (Eph. 6:10). That scripture reminds us that we cannot survive within our own strength. So. lean into the presence of the most  high God.

If you have a task that appears insurmountable, perhaps too difficult to achieve. . . know that God has the blueprint. Consult the master, stop leaning on your own understanding and wait on the Lord.

In your waiting, be like an eagle and learn to fly above the storm instead of settling in the storm.

Don’t quit praying,

Don’t quit fasting,

Don’t quit believing,

Don’t quit confessing,

Don’t quit serving,

Don’t quit loving, and

Don’t quit trusting God.

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run,and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” –Isaiah 40:31
