Reflections of Hope Tuesday, March 15 2011
Thank you for surfing the Trinity Wholeness Ministries Blog! I am excited about the next 38 days as we journey through the book of Jonah to look at how God can take what seems disappointing, devastating and possible hopeless and turn the situation around full circle in victory. Right when you felt you were on the path of your journey toward destiny when your course changes drastically. How? Why? You feel paralyzed stuck in the traffic of life. It can be hard to look at you place of Nineveh as a holding place to hear God. Your Nineveh could be caring for an elderly family member, or interceding for loved ones or co-workers. Your Nineveh could be singleness through divorce, death, prehaps economic changes but what do you do? How do you respond? Remember this new path of life can be like a call to Nineveh – a place to mature and move into the fullness of who you are destine to be I did not say it would not be painful, scary, or difficult. Don’t stay in the belly of your whale too long. Allow yourself to move toward the call. Someone is counting on your humility and obedience to stay on the course. Get in his presence remember the anointing breaks the yoke, releasing you to operate in freedom. During the next 37 days grab your bible, a pen , and journal and watch what happens when you pray, plan and prosper spiritually, mentally, and physically during this study. The book we are studying is Life Interrupted by Priscilla Shirer. I. Scriptural text: Isaiah 10:27 “ And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” |
